Terp Talk

    Continuing their mastery over #1 ranked teams,  the Terrapins held on to an incredible victory at Chapel Hill on Saturday for their 7th triumph over the nation’s leading team.  Greivis Vasquez was brilliant down the stretch play-making his way into Maryland folklore.  James Gist continued his torrid playing with 22 points and 13 rebounds.  Certainly the return of Eric Hayes was crucial to the victory as he dropped in 8 points in limited appearance.  The Terps move to 12-7 and 2-2 in the conference.  Next up Duke at Comcast on Sunday night.  We will have a lot to say about the game on Terp Talk Wednesday night at 8PM.         The Lady Terps 22-1 rolled on Sunday with a double overtime 99-95 in over Georgia Tech.  Crytal Langhorne, who became Maryland’s all time leading scorer on Friday night, dropped in 32 points leading the victory charge!!  Next up for the Lady Terps is North Carolina at  Chapel Hill Saturday.
