Terp Talk

    The headline says it all.  The Terps fall to 7-5 in the conference with conventional thinking 10-6 guarantees us a berth in the big dance.  Greivis led all scorers with 25 points.  Virginia Tech’s bench outscored Maryland’s 12-0.  Eric Hayes’ shooting woes continue going 2-8 from the field.  With Gist and Osby on the bench due to foul problems, Maryland could only score 3 points in the last 9 minutes of the 1st half.  Next up Miami in Coral Gables Saturday afternoon at 2PM. Miami dominated Duke last night 96-95, a game not quite as close as the final score indicates.
