Terp Talk

     Poor clutch foul shooting ruined the Memphis Tigers chance for a National Championship, as the Kansas Jayhawks completed an improbable victory keyed by a 3 point shot with 2 seconds left by Mario Chalmers to send the game into OT.  I already anxiously anticipate next season and Maryland’s return to national prominence.  Optimistic–yes but stay tuned for my logical reasoning over the off season.  The Orioles remain in 1st place after none other then Aubrey Huff homered to give the O’s another come from behind victory.  Saturday afternoon finds the Terps visiting Johns Hopkins in a rivalry game with huge implications.  Hopefully Joe Walters and ex Hopkins goalie Jesse Schwartzman will be on Terp Talk to discuss the rivalry and this year’s game.
