A very busy day in Terrapin land on Thursday. Due to the live airing of Terp talk, I was unable to attend the annual Men’s Basketball banquet where James Gist was named MVP of the 07-08 team. The Orioles scored 2 in the 9th to tie and went on to a 10 inning win over the Pale Hose, behind the timely hitting of Adam Jones. The sudden retirement of Steve McNair ignited a QB discussion throughout Baltimore today. Look for the Ravens to attempt to trade up in the draft in order to try to land Matt Ryan. My NBA predictions for round one: Celtics in 4 over ATL, Detroit in 45 over Phil, Orlando over Totonto in 6 and the Wizards in 6 over Cleveland. In the West the lakers over Denver in 5, New Orleans over Dallas in 6,Utah over Houston in 5 and finally San Antonio over Phoenix in 6.
Gist Named MVP, O’s Win 6-5, McNair Retires, 1st Round NBA Predictions
