    With selection Sunday looming, the Terrapin Men’s lacrosse needs a win over Yale to finish the season 9-5 and probably secure a home game in the 1st round of the NCAAs. It’s Senior day at College park with the face off at 1PM.  The Lady Terps venture into Baltimore to play at Loyola tomorrow at 4PM.

    The Wizards sans Darius Songalia and Gilbert provided a lacklustre effort in going down to the Cavs 4-2 in the 1st round of the NBA playoffs.  LeBron posted a triple double in what might be the last game of the Arenas version of the Wizards.  After 2 injury plaqued years , I doubt if the Wizards will provide Agent Zero with the max contract he is seeking.  Certainly the money must go to Jamison first. Cleveland obviously has the Wizards’ number at this time.  Joe Smith provided excellent minutes in his sub role on the Cavs.

     Despite the #20 post position, I still like the favorite, Big Brown in the Derby.
