Terp Talk

      One more win for the Men’s and Women’s lacrosse teams and then ……….. the final four.  My final four winners for the men are —Johns Hopkins  Syracuse Duke and yes the Terps.  Maryland has the edge in goal tending and defense and the Senior leadership of Joe Cinosky will carry the day for the Terps.  On the women’s side my final four is  Northwestern  Syracuse  Penn and yes–Maryland.  In the loss to Duke, Dana Dobbie controlled the draws but the Terps were overcome by turnovers.  Not today–12-7 Maryland. 

    The O’s come from behind to win again over the Nats 5-3.  The Lakers defeated Utah late last night and advance to the Western finals.  Seems like everyone is predicting a Big Brown romp–I agree but Gayego will challenge late.
