    Shooting 30 on the back nine is incredible even for Tiger.  But doing it on one good leg sets him apart from all athletes.  After 2 days , Tiger is but one stroke behind the leader Stuart Appleby.  He tees off at 5;50 PM on Saturday.  Speaking of one good pin–Kevin Millar, playing with a painful knee injury had the key hit as usual, a 2 run single in the 5th to draw the O’s close before a sold out Camden Yards.

    On the Terrapin front, Basketball is anxiously awaiting the final test results of Sean Mosley which should be available in 10 days. Incoming Lady Terrapin Lynetta Kizer was named to the under 18 USA team.  Lynetta personifies the term blue chip recruit. Lynetta is 6′4 from Potomac High in Woodbridge, Virginia. Maryland’s men lacrosse has been rated pre-season #3. Jonathan Ogden’s retirement from the Ravens will trigger the entrance of ex-Terp Jared Gaither into the starting lineup as Offensive left tackle.
