     Draft day was a lucky one for James Gist.  The Maryland forward was selected by the dethroned NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs.  If James can make this squad, guys like Parker and Ginobli can make any running forward look great, let alone one with James’ athleticism. Look for James in the NBA Summer League –I will post when his games are on TV.

     The O’s dropped a tough game to the lowly Nationals in DC last night .  The crowd was really dull almost making me believe it was waiting for an Oriole breakout. Sloppy fielding and as usual poor baserunningled to the O’s demise.  I still say Georgia’s Gordon Beckham would have looked awful good at Shortstop. I take my first trip to DC tonight to watch the O’s try to even the series.
