The No. 6 University of Maryland wrestling team won two of three dual meets today at the Northeast Duals in Troy, N.Y., claiming victory over Northern Colorado and No. 12 Lehigh while falling to No. 10 Central Michigan. The Terps moved their record to 5-1 on the season, including 2-1 against ranked opponents.”I’m happy where the team is right now because I know we have time to get better,” said head coach Kerry McCoy. “I was happy with the way we wrestled against Northern Colorado and Lehigh. Obviously you never like to lose but sticking with a team like Central Michigan when you’re not wrestling your best shows a lot.” Hudson Taylor remained undefeated winning all 3 matches.
