Pam Shriver outdid herself this year. the world class group of tennis players in Baltimore last night pays credence to why we should pay homage to Pam. She is the only person who could assemble such a group. The  highlights were as follows:

–The Bryan Brothers played McEnroe and John Isner in a ferocious 5 game set won by Johnny Mac. At 50 his touch game at thenet is still incredible. I do believe the Brothers were a little in shock over the defeat.

Melanie Oudin’s backhand is simply awesome.

Brad Bergesen and Jeremy Guthrie proved by their inept play that not much of their time is spent on the tennis court.

Way to go, Pam!!!
