BREAKING STORY: Oak Hill Academy Guard Pe’Shon Howard Verbally Commits to Maryland

January 2nd, 2010 by Bruce · 1 Comment

Pe’Shon Howard a 6′2″ 185 lb guard out of the Oak Hill Academy became Maryland’s 4th Commitment yesterday. Long wanting to be a Terrapin, Pe’Shon quickly accepted the offer from Coach Gary Williams. From the limited video I have seen of Howard he appears to have a smooth long range shot. More info as the story develops.

Is this a knee-jerk reaction for losing Ross. Howard is more of a point guard that shooting guard. Stoglin was recruited as a point guard. Both are in the 6-1..6-2 range. Add Bowie, who returns next year, at that same size and Maryland gets much smaller for 2010-11. Maybe the Maryland team is being pieced together by Steve Martin. Let’s get small…really small.
