Gary’s 2010-11 Schedule is certainly one of Maryland’s toughest ever. Here are some of the tougher Non-conf foes:

This is the one that the Terps really want. A 6’5″ go to guard who has really taken off in the past few months will have 6 home visits and then narrow the choice down to 3 in school visits. terrapintimes.com states that the Terps are clearly in the lead.

Any time you seek a top 25 6’10″ star like Johnny O’Bryant from Mississippi, finishing the deal will always be difficult. But according to terrapintimes.com at least Maryland is in the picture. The family is greatly impressed with Bino. Let’s see where this goes.

I am not even a little surprised. The fantastic score of 962 APR (925 is acceptable) is only going to climb more with all the recent Terrapin graduations. Remember this score is indicative of where bball stood years ago. Gary’s guys have graduated at a tremendous rate the past 5 years. WAY TO GO TERPS!!!!

Terps To Meet Pittsburgh at MSG Nov 18 in Coaches vs Cancer Game

The University of Maryland will face Pittsburgh on Thursday, Nov. 18, in the first round of a championship semifinal doubleheader in the 2K Sports Classic Benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer. The game will be played at 7 p.m. in New York’s Madison Square Garden. Illinois will play Texas in the second game. The consolation game will be at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, with the championship game to follow. All the championship-round games in the event will be broadcast on ESPN2. from umterps.com

Tahj Holden has been promoted to Assistant Coach under head coach Dave Calloway at Monmouth University.

Steve Frances wants to play ball in China citing he is back to full strength. “Francis, who is loved and remembered by many Chinese fans as a superb basketball player and the “big brother” to Houston Rockets center Yao Ming, said in an interview with Xinhua that he loves China and his Chinese fans.”

Andre Collins (Terrapin and Loyola guard) has signed to play another year in Italy.
