Here is some info on Haukur Palsson, the incoming Maryland swingman from Montverde (Fla.) Academy who played in last night’s Capital Classic: Palsson had three points and four rebounds in the game and said he hopes to help Maryland on the boards next season. I have now watched Carolina, Duke, Wake, BC, Virginia Tech, Florida State, and Clemson and I can conclude that I don’t see any team the Terps can’t defeat, especially if their intensity remains the level it has been at for the first 3 games of the ACC season.

Can you imagine at one point Virginia led Johns Hopkins 17-5. Hopkins defense was non existent as Glading, Steele Stanwyk, and Shamel Bratton pummeled Hopkins goalie Mike Gvozden.
