Kristi Tolliver continued her torrid shooting Thursday night, hitting five threes leading the Terps to a relatively easy victory over the Wolfpack. Maryland is now 18-4 and 6-2 in the ACC. Brenda commented on the improved play of her post players after the game:
“With our post play, it’s fun to be able to see each and every game out. Dee [Liles] and Lynetta [Kizer] continue to just keep getting more and more confident. I thought Drey [Mingo] did tonight, as well. That’s what we have to have happen; we have to have a post presence. The way [NC State] shot the ball today, I thought we were really aggressive on the boards, especially Dee. That’s something we have to have happen for an inside-outside combination.” Shayla fields tallied 24 for NC State.
