If there is a better high school team in the country then Stu Vetter’s Montrose Mustangs, I would like to see it. Before a packed house including Greivis Vasquez, a myriad of future D1 stars shot, dunked, blocked and passed Montrose to an easy victory. Terrence Ross, 6’5 180 Junior who has drawn increased interest from Maryland impressed everyone with his aggressive play. He had 3 dunks including a put back rebound as well as some excellent fast break passes. As he fills out, he will be an even greater force. Terrence has a tremendous vision of the game. On this team he blends in well with the breakneck speed of play.
Villanova bound Mouphataou Yarou, 6’10 250 will make an immediate impact with his super physical play. Remember the name Justin Anderson, a 6-5 freshman lefthander with the appearance of Ron Artest, he played an incredible game. Stu Vetter’s team is always on the move to the basket and is so loaded, his 2nd team increased the lead to over 30 in the final minutes.
