The much anticipated 2009 Maryland Men’s lacrosse season begins tomorrow in Jacksonville as the #3 Preseason ranked Terrapins take up Presbyterian. Can any team stop the vaunted attack of the Terps? Certainly not their first 2 opponents. I haven’t made my reservations in Boston on Memorial day weekend yet.
The Lady Basketball Terps await a revenge match against UVA at Comcast tonight. The Terps fell to the Cavs 89-81 at John Paul Jones Arena. But now the Terrapins have their game flowing as Kristi and Marissa near the end of their careers. The Lady Terps will control the boards and win by 10.
I enjoyed watching the Devils get slaughtered at Cameron last night. The students slept in tents for 6 or 7 weeks to watch the Devils get thoroughly dominated. Tyler Hansborough completed his career at Duke going 4-0. But the difference maker is Ty Lawson. Wake Forest lost to NC State by 6. Believe it or not the Terps will be favorite over Wake at Comcast March 3 in what will most likely be a do or die game for Maryland.
