Grant Catalino scored 5 points and Travis Reed and Dan Groot added 3 goals apiece as Maryland rebounded from a lacklustre Saturday effort against UMBC to easily defeat Zack Greer and the Bryant Bulldogs. Today the attack was back as a smooth functioning unit. Senior Mike Griswold was given the task of covering Duke transfer Zack Greer and held the NCAA’s all-time leading goal scorer to two goals, while picking up two groundballs and causing a turnover. Jason carter went the distance in the goal for Maryland. Next up for the Terps is North Carolina, Saturday at Ludwig Field at 2PM.
Over at the Field Hockey Complex , the undefeated #2 Lady Terps moved to 6-0 on the season easily defeating #13 New Hampshire 19-7 behind 5 goals from Laura Merrifield. Next up for the Terps is Dartmouth in Hanover on Wednesday afternoon.
