I was watching the O’s game last night with a few friends and as the Orioles jumped to a 7-0 lead, I said dishearteningly to Jimmy Mo that the Red Sox would catch up by the 5th. The score after 5 was 8-8. Year after year we have to watch the Red Sox celebrate at our expense.After 10 games the O’s staff has given up 79 runs. It’s April 17 and the pitching is almost in shambles. I am beginning to to worry about Aubrey Huff, who blew the game in the field and then failed to deliver in the 8th. Oh well it’s only 1 game and we have Adam Eaton on the mound tomorrow.
However, I still believe in Andy MacPhail.
