From Trans World News comes the news that X has canceled his trip to Kentucky. Why does a Terrapin fan care about this? Kansas coach Bill Self threatened that if X took an official visit to Kentucky then he was off the Jayhawk want list. Expect Xavier to commit to Kansas within 48 hours. That leaves lance with his decision that I have gone over enough. Logic says he comes to Maryland , but we shall see.
From the Terrapintimes.com comes word that Gary is on the road again this time visiting the Miller School in Virginia recruiting Mychal Parker 6’6 small forward and Hippolyte Tsafack, 6’8″ Power forward.

The Henrys are seriously schizo….are they visiting UK or not? This is the first year I started to really following Terp related recruiting. Is it always like this every year??? Geez….

The main change in recruiting is the heightened attention to the top players and the internet coverage and speculation. The Lance question should be over soon, but now with the net every Maryland fan in the country knows who Lance Stephenson is.

I’ve followed Terp recruiting since the late 90’s. It has just gone mainstream, and now a bunch of speculative blogs are not even close to reporting facts, so they’re essentially useless. Terptalk does not speculate too much, trying to cobble together facts and form opinions, which I like.
Greivis will not hire qan agent and will not go pro. IMHO, he has a chance to move into a late 1st round status with a very good senior year. How? Improve his outside shot, improve his assist/TO ratio, and have a top 10 ranked senior year.
If Lance is smart, he’ll come to Maryland after Henry signs with Kansas because the Johnnies are NBA draft suicide. How many good pros has St. John’s had in the past 25 years? Answer – Mullin and Artest (Berry doesn’t count – big flop). Maryland’s good pros – we know the long list…

Excellent Comment–it’s funny but I was thinking about writing about the lack of Johnnies in the pros. Read the pros on Lance coming to Maryland I wrote today. Listen in tomorrow night — just click listen live or tune in the radio if you are from Baltimore.
