Terrapin Times reported yesterday that Drey Mingo has found a new home at Purdue. Marah Strickland has kept her options open but is leaning to South Carolina where she would hope to be the focus of the offense. I still do not understand why Marah left.
she left because “SUPERSTARS” kristi toliver and marissa coleman were not treating her right and the coaching staff did nothing about it. if you watch the games closely you can see the alienation and them no really “trying” to give her the ball when she was open.
it was kind of obvious,
after the whole championship run a real basketball spectator could see the values of the team diminish. i.e. no stress for defense, and the mindset changed= not returning to the championship game the next two years.
i respect her decision and dont blame her. a lot of coaches change their style based on their accomplishments and may become too big for their bridges! It makes you think is or was maryland that good? Because if they were a repeat should have been the answer (especially with more talent added)
Don’t you think that no matter what went down, Marah would have been the go to player this year for the Terps. I watched a lot of the Maryland games and never saw any denying her the ball but truthfully I really wasn’t looking for it. It’s a shame because I think Marah is a real talent and would have had great junior and senior years at Maryland.

She probably was a head case like her brother was.
