Apparently ex Terrapin Jared Gaither got the message from Coach Harbaugh that Jared’s training regiman supervised by agent Drew Rosenhaus was unacceptable because Jared plans on reporting to Owings Mills on Monday. Coach, let’s stop toying with Jared, get him signed to a fair deal, and stop shopping him around. To break up the tackle combination the Ravens have is insane. Check out how ONeill Cousins did at right tackle last year when Jared was out. IF YOU HAVE TO PLAY #74 at LEFT TACKLE THEN SWITCH THE GUYS BUT DON”T CREATE A PROBLEM WHERE THIS ISN”T ONE!!!!!!

bruce your view of the situation is completely wrong. or in the words of don shula..horse crap! gaither has never exhibited a real dedication to football at maryland or with the ravens. while his teammates are working out he’s partying in south beach. his work habits are terrible. he often opts out of the line up for any small injury where others play when hurt. it’s time for gaither to grow up and accept the responsibility of being a professional. no reason to sign him to a long term deal until he hows he worthy of it. and he should be moved to right tackle because michael oher is a superior left tackle. gaither is the one creating problems.

I am with you 99% of the time, but, you might have a little ase of MD bias on this one.
Gaither has ALWAYS been a problem when it comes to work ethic and motivation. That is the rap on him now, and HE needs to prove otherwise.
There is NO WAY and I totally concur you give top RT or LT money to a kid with the issues he has. Add on the injuries last year, and that could cripple a team.
If they can land a 1st round pick, which from everything I have read and heard, they are so frustrated with him that they would probably take a 2nd rd at this point, then I would say do it.
Ozzie is great, and he has a plan.
Just like the Scott Garceau show was saying yesterday, that, they know they have a SB caliber team this year, and they won’t make a hole anywhere unless they know they can fill it or upgrade it.
I did hear that he plans on showing up on Monday.
This ain’t the Raven’s or Harbaugh. This is ALL on JG.
