West Virginia has a way of setting basketball back 10 years with the way they induce poor play.For the build up, this game is pathetic. C’mon John Wall, Mr Player of the Year–let’s see what you got. wall is 5-15 with 5 turnovers in the biggest game of his life.

Calipari appeared to be hopelessly lost last night. WVU shot 10-23 (44%) for 3’s and KY shot 4-32 (13%). KY just looked like they were having fun running down the court and throwing up 3’s for laughs. It was clear that KY was more athletic across the board, but they didn’t start to drive or run until at least midway through the second half and by then it was too late. As far as athletism goes, KY had 25 more rebounds than WVU. Calipari was in over his head and Huggins, like him or not, did a great job adjusting his defense, letting KY shoot 3’s until the cows came home, and setting up continous screens that allowed a team that was missing its point guard to drive in for numerous uncontested layups. How does a team with 4 future NBA players have an Asst/TO ratio of .63, and have less blocked shots than WVU? I really hope the KY papers and fans are all over Calipari, I never liked him anyhow.
