Junior Kerry Hickey threw her ninth career no-hitter and first of the year in a 7-0 win over Atlantic Coast Conference opponent Virginia Tech in game one of Saturday’s doubleheader. The Terps (24-16, 2-8) were edged by the Hokies 2-1 in the second game. In game one, Hickey helped lead the Terps with nine strikeouts and allowed just one Hokie base runner on the day with a walk.
