A 5 under 66, was enough to bring Tiger back into contention but 6’4″ Dustin Johnson who seemingly has mastered Pebble Beach goes into Sunday with a 4 shot lead over Tiger . I am sticking with my Saturday morning pick of Dustin Johnson.
tiger’s 2nd shot on 18 was electrifying. tiger is on the prowl. he still has a long way to go to win this thing. if you are a tv sponsor you have to love it. the first few holes could be big. if tiger can get a couple of early birdies and johnson feels the pressure of being on the lead in the last round of the open and gets a quick bogey or two the complexion of the match will turn dramatically. 3pm on nbc. most see tv for a sports fan. should be a dandy.
