Despite a stark advantage in possession and shots the No.4 Maryland men’s soccer team drew with Wake Forest, 1-1, on senior night Friday at Ludwig Field. With the tie, Maryland (13-2-3, 4-2-2 ACC) was awarded the second seed in the upcoming Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Soccer Championship, which begins Monday. Junior John Stertzer put the Terps ahead in the 32nd minute on a header from 10 yards out from Taylor Kemp. The strike was Stertzer’s team-high 14th goal of the season.
