Baltimore (Md.) Gilman School athlete Kenneth Goins landed a new offer in the past couple weeks. The 5-foot-9, 210-pounder pulled the scholarship from the ACC. Now with the season behind him, Goins is starting to set up trips and even has a leader heading into the visits.

Goins landed an offer recently from Maryland. |
“We just won the championship over Calvert Hall,” he said. “I thought I did well. I scored a touchdown and we won in overtime. I also had a sack in overtime too.
“Our team achieved all of our goals we wanted to achieve and I think it was a good season. I think I improved this year in all aspects of my game.”
That improvement was clearly seen by one school, Maryland who offered Goins in the past week.
“They offered about a week ago,” he said. “I’m not sure what they saw in my highlight tape, but I was making a lot of plays. It sounded good to me. I was surprised, I didn’t think they’d offer.”
Goins plans to head up to Maryland next weekend on December 3rd for an unofficial visit. from rivals.com
