Some key points in defeat:
The first half intensity was off the charts. There was a feeling that the 2nd could be a letdown and it was.
Stoglin finished with 25 points on 8-17 shooting and 4-9 from the 3 point line. The game was lost on the foul line. Maryland shot 15-25 and the Illini was 18-20.
Padgett finished with 16 points and to me this was the best gane he has ever played at College Park.
I couldn’t help but think what a difference PeShon and Len would have made tonight.
Next up Notre Dame at the BBandT Classic at Verizon Sunday at 430
freddy from boca
they played hard. 2nd half the lack of players with good offensive skills and fatigue due to lack of depth hurt the terps badly. padgett played his best game by a mile. 13,100…not a good crowd. moseley continues to disappear offensively. if len is good and pe’shon comes back 100% this team will be o.k. not a tourney team but they will win more than most think and set a good foundation for next year.
