The Ravens never do it easily. Just when you thought it was over, it wasn’t. As expected the Bengals were throwing to the end zone as the game ended. Ladarius might have gotten away with a little interference at the end but so what.
Ray Rice was incredible as always. How could the entire NFL pass him almost twice. Ricky Williams filled in admirably as he passed the 10,000 yard plateau.
The key play of the game went to 55 who should be named Defensive Player of the Year.
His tackle that caused the fumble stemmed the tide the Bengals were on.
Torrey had 6 catches for 33 yards including 1 shoestring catch that seemed impossible. The utilization of Torrey in motion created havoc for Cincinnati.
Joe Flacco “managed” the game going 15-9 for 130 yards, no ints and 1 touchdown pass to Dennis Pitta. The bottom line is this –Coach Harbaugh’s team went 12-4 , won the division, got a bye, went 8-0 at home and has positioned itself for a Super Bowl run. The Ravens will face the winner of the Houston Cincinnati game to be played Saturday.
Let’s make one thing clear, if the Ravens are fortunate enough to get to a championship with the Pats and jump on top like every team has against Brady–the Patriots won’t be able to produce the type of comeback it has the past few weeks.
Around the league, Darrius had 9 catches for 155 yards but a few costly drops. One thing for sure— he is always open.
Could somebody tell me the contributions Lee Evans has made. The pass he dropped was laid out on his fingertips. Can he ever get open.
By the way for the Harbaugh skeptics out there, he is now 11-5. 9-7. 12-4. And 12-4 in his first 4 seasons here.
