I usually hate the No Respect game but dammit I am confounded how the ESPN geniuses are giving the Ravens no chance. Maybe the Ravens shouldn’t even bother to show up on Sunday. The Ravens are a 7 1/2 point underdog? Have they ever been a 7 point underdog in the past few years?
Were we 7 under at Pittsburgh in the past few years? Let’s be real if you had to be on the road for a shot to the big dance, where would you rather be in Pittsburgh or New England? I wonder what the spread was the last time we were in New England for the playoffs. So everyone says this is a different team and it probably is with the tight ends. But the last time this team was a juggernaut, they came against the 5-11 Ravens team and would have lost except for a bonehead timeout call by Rex Ryan.
Let’s see we were unimpressive Sunday. The better team lost says the Texans. O penalties–0 turnovers. I wonder how many times in the NFL those 2 stats result in defeat. I guess the 3 ints were strictly luck. Coaching has a ton to do with the Ravens victory. However, I was confounded by now going for the field goal on 4th and 1 –only because of the lack of success we have in that situation. I still don’t believe we threw the ball on 2nd and 5 with a little over 2 minutes left. But you what –John Harbaugh is 49-23 since his arrival.
Has the lack of respect for Joe Flacco, Ray Rice, Boldin, Torrey, etc reached a point where that defense is going to shut us down. Are you kidding me? Every QB has picked them apart.
I can’t watch the prognosticators any more because they are so negative about our chances. Yea I guess we were lucky to go 6-0 in the conference, 7-0 against teams that made the playoff, and 12-4 so far this year. The Ravens won every game they had to.
I love the false praise from Brady yesterday. Tom you went so overboard, your cockiness was on display. But one thing everyone knows is that Brady doesn’t like to be hit. Joe Flacco got sacked 5 times by Houston and publicly never complained, never pointed a finger and never whined like Brady would have. So Yes I believe this game might be in the hands of TSizzle and I like that. If the Patriots don’t use 2 men to stop him, Brady will pay. ESPN analyst and Ravens hater Merrill Hoge said that the defense you show Brady before the snap better not be the one you play. Who better then one of the most brilliant, studious on the field Generals would you rather have to accomplish this? 52 that’s who. Bellichick and Brady fear Ed Reed more then any other player in the NFL. Just watch his videography. They plotted endlessly against him. So did Peyton 2 years ago. Guess what Ed got 2 ints against the Great One.
I remember when the Ravens went to Tennessee the Super Bowl year. Weirdest game ever. I think 10 passes for Dilfer and the Ravens won easily against McNair, Eddie George, Mason, the Freak, etc. Not impressive. Suggs said it best Sunday—it was Ravens football.
Yea I guess we may as well stay home.
My call—Joe Flacco has a career day and burns a very weak Patriot secondary, Ray Rice goes for 130 mainly on a 55 yard 3 and 1 run to seal the game. Ravens 38 Patriots 24

I don’t really have a horse in the race but instead of saying 38-24 Ravens, just admit that you know they are going to lose. Its inevitable.
