As the 2011-12 years winds down with only a few events left, my thoughts turn excitingly to what I believe with all my heart will be a turnaround season for Randy Edsall and the Maryland Football squad. From what I have witnessed the attitude and spirit of the team is exactly where it should be. The addition of Stefon Diggs, Wes Brown, and the rest of the Freshman class will energize this team, and has already lifted the efforts of many of the returning players. Recruiting is at levels Terrapin nation hasn’t seen for a long time as great programs like Gilman and Good Counsel now treat Maryland as a major player for their top talent. I never want to wish away the summer but I am counting the days until September 1.
