Observations of a grand night of Monday Night Football:
When the Ravens won the toss and elected to receive, you could feel it was a night when a statement would be made. The Ravens offense is for real. First play of the game a 52 yard Bomb to Torrey right on the money.

The Bengals ran the ball well butt Marvin Lewis probably regrets not going for the 1st down trailing 17-10 and the ball inside the Ravens 5 yard line
It was obvious the defensive line wore down as the game went on–this led to total domination by the Ravens.
LaQuan and Sergio Kindle were placed on the inactive list for game. In a surprise move Bobby Rainey was released from the squad but could return to the practice squad. Why play the exhibition season?
Ray Rice seemed to find a hole everytime he touched the ball

The no huddle certainly negates some of the outside pass rush. Overall the offensive line did a great job protecting Joe and opening holes for Ray Rice

what you failed to mention is the offensive line. at the last minute oher moves to left tackle and harwood to left guard. not only was this harwood’s first start in a reg season game this was the first reg season game he ever suited up for. along with rookie right tackle Kelechi Osemele playing his first reg season game ever.
