Never forget March 29, 1984–the day the IRSAYS snuck out of Baltimore in the middle of the night. I will never forget how this family ruined football in Baltimore for 13 years. I hate the Indy Colts and can’t wait to extract revenge this Sunday after Peyton always managed to find a way to beat the Ravens.
Look the Chuck Pagano story is a great one. It was heartwarming to watch that game yesterday. But Jimmy Irsay owns the Colts and believe me his dislike of Baltimore matches my dislike of him. That’s the way I feel and it ain’t changing. Irsay would never think about giving us back our name like Art Modell did to Cleveland. Fortunately his pockets are much shorter then Steve Bishotti’s as Steve supposedly continually outbids him for Baltimore Colts memorabilia. Do you want to get sick–go to the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton and read about Johnny U and Raymond Berry under the Indy Colts banner. Tell someone else about what a great guy Jimmy Irsay is because I am not a buyer.
Vegas has the Ravens a 6 1/2 point favorite. The Ravens are 10-1 to win it all. The Colts 18-1.

it was bob irsay not jimmy irsay he moved the colts to indy. highly unlikely any 23 year old could control a drunk father. highly unlikely a 33 yr 43 yr old or 53 yr could control a drunk. highly unlikely jimmy hates baltimore. for what reason. because the city hated his father. how do you think jimmy felt towards his drunken father. ya think he looked up to him as a role model. by the way jimmy has become one of the best owners in football. did everything his father didn’t. hired good football people and let them run the football side of things. and despite peyton manning having a great year with denver jimmy made the right choice for the franchise letting a 37 yr manning go to get luck and luck is a viable candidate for mvp and rookie of the year. and let there be no arguing that bob irsay was the worst owner in sports but some blame on the city and state for waiting so long to build modern stadiums. it was only after the colts left and people and politicians (hard to include politicians as people) thought ebw was going to move the o’s to dc that created so much fear that the city and state took action. the reality of memorial stadium was it had no parking. a couple of buses would come by it. pathetic bathrooms, horrible concessions, many obstructed seats, many seats without chairbacks, terrible scoreboard, by the 3rd home football game the field was dirt. the upkeep was a coat of paint every third year. dirty dark narrow concourses. only a couple of elevators. poor access-egress. did have the wheel and the spoke, though.
now in regards to the nfl hall of fame stuff. baltimore colts should never be mentioned with indy and the league should have made the drunk leave the uniforms and name or somone in balto should have had the sense to sue for the name like cleveland did when modell moved the browns to balt. still makes me sick to see the blue and white and horseshoes and the name indy associated with them. and i never refer to the indy team by the nickname….and by the way modell is no better and may be worse than irsay for moving the browns who were selling out each game. and it was modell who wanted to control the cleveland stadium and screwed himself financially. if you remember it was his 6 million dollar contract to andre rison which bursted his bubble. how badly can you run a franchise if one contract takes you down. i’m happy balt got a team because tagliabue and jack kent cooke did everything they could to keep a team out of balt. as a matter of fact modell voted against balt getting an expansion team. modell was a phony. and i know modell gave a lot to charity. mostly to the arts which is nice except the money could have been used in other places to help those who really needed it than to give the rich a nicer place to watch an opera and my guess is most who go to the opera want to be seen there but have no clue what the opera is about. though i still enjoy watching night of the opera with the marx brothers. karl is really funny in that movie. bruce probably thinks i’m referring to george karl.
sadly think indy will beat the ravens. hope not but indy is playing really well and the ravens are stumbling. seattle should beat the skins. but on any given sunday…..
happy healthy new year. going to the beach today. ya know what it feels like to go to the beach on an 80 degree day on dec 31st. pretty pretty good my friend. i know in jewish law it requires you to retire to fl and wear polyester pants with a white belt and white shoes but there is no law saying you can’t come here sooner.

Bob Irsay was a drunk and a liar. Jimmy has to live with the horrible reputation his father left him. Jimmy could have made it right by giving us our name and colors back. But he didn’t. He will continue to live with the stigma of his father. That is his curse for not doing the right thing.
