Some comments on a sad night at College Park
Last year when the Big 10 Commissioner awarded the first Lax tournament to be played in College Park, I was ecstatic. Tonight after watching another home loss by the Terps, i was extremely disappointed. And yet the Terps are still 12-3 but on a downward spiral.
The good–maybe Charlie Raffa needs 2 more days to be ready. It’s clear that the Terps are a vastly superior team with #7 playing.
So it’s Hopkins vs Ohio State for the automatic qualifier as well as the Big Ten Title.
The Terps have to await selection Sunday to see their destination for the tournament and have to bear the embarrassment of 2 other Big 10 teams playing for the title in their house on Saturday night. I will sit that one out and watch Game 7 between the Spurs and Clippers.
Once again the Terps lost the groundball battle, the face off battle, OSU had more shots, the goalie had more saves then Bernlohr, etc. That’s it– I have nothing else to say except this one stings, time to move on to the tourney. Redemption Saturday is a lost thought.
