#1 Forget the tremendous lack of timely hitting throughout the lineup. Forget how the O’s muster 10 hits and only 2 runs. How do you interview Buck post game and not ask him about the decision to leave Hunter in for the 2nd inning?.
How in the world does Buck stay with Tommy Hunter for a 2nd inning. You knew trouble was ahead, I knew it, everyone sensed it but……….. there it goes — a walk off dinger on a horrible pitch. I just don’t get it.
#2 Rory what are you thinking? How stupid are you? This is your tournament–St Andrews–you just won a tournament there with your dad. You are the #1 player in the world. Playing Soccer for kicks. Really. I am beginning to believe the money, fame and notoriety has gotten to him. Maybe he just doesn’t care.
#3 Golf Channel people–you are chastising Jordan Spieth for doing the right thing and playing in the John Deere Classic instead of going to St Andrews early and getting used to the links course. The JD Classic gave Jordan an exemption into the tourney and he proceeded to get his first win. And now he is getting blasted for doing the honorable act. I applaud him for knowing what is right and what is wrong.
#4 UFC 189 WAS the most anticipated fight in its history. Conor McGregor –the most charismatic figure in UFC history –was supposed to take on Jose Aldo but Aldo took a spin kick in the ribs in sparring and is out. Hurt in a preparation battle. Really? Maybe Conor was right when he said Aldo would find a way out.
#5 The multiple crash in the Tour de France–hard to imagine why this event is so big with all of the controversy surrounding it. Not here in the USA.
#6 Arod is upset he was left off the All Star squad. No comment
#7 Marc Gasol received a max contract 5 years #110 million from Memphis. That’s right Marc Gasol $110 million. For most regular season games you can buy get ins on Stub Hub for $10-20 dollars. $110 million
#8 Why even play the 2015-2016 NBA Season —Spurs over Cleveland 4-3 in the Finals. Book it.
#9 No news is good news from the Ravens camp

I said for the past several years the following. (1) Buck will not win a the world series championship or a american league championship with Buck controlling the pitchers, (2)) Davis has to go, (3) trade Hunter, & (4) sign Manny to Mr. Center fielder to a long term contract.

have to disagree about buck and the pitching. maybe you think he needs to be perfect. i guessing you don’t know who might be available on any given night. i’m sure you don’t keep track who is coming up for the other team in regards to match ups. last night you can’t use norris, matusz is more a situational pitcher, britton is being held back to pitch in a save situation. brach and roe were probably available but you have to consider it’s an extra inning game and have to consider the game tonight. not saying buck is perfect, he’s not, but few in the game handle pitching staff’s as well as buck…
davis needs to go. i guess his leading the team in home runs and rbi’s, the fact he’s an excellent defensive first baseman and plays decent right field shouldn’t be considered.
fans panic when the team loses and go nuts during a bad streak. when they were wining 18 out of 23 where were you and your complaints.
trade hunter. fine with that. trade snider, trade parmelee..fine with that. sign manny long term. couldn’t agree more. i’d offer him 17-20 million for 7-10 yrs. if there is one guy i would risk a crazy contract for it’s ammny because he’s great and still yrs away from entering his prime. i would think the team would like to see him play a full season without being injured badly. jones..i would try to extend him for 3 yrs.

Buck not part of great MLB manager conversation until he learns how to manage MLB pitching staff. Hunter has been cooked for last 2 months…late innings, yes…in Wilkes Barre.

In a recent survey conducted by ESPN.com, between baseball scouts, front-office executives, big league coaches and media analysts, the Giants skipper was named the best overall manager in all of Major League Baseball.
Bochy finished with 24.2 percent of the votes. Baltimore Orioles manager Buck Showalter finished a close second behind Bochy by garnering 21.5 percent of votes.
An NL scout on Showalter: “He has his detractors, but he has the ability to create structure and discipline, as well as the intellect to put players in a position to succeed. What he has done in the AL East the past few years is impressive. I have him second because he knows how to win and has proven he can do it at every stop.”
in the poll bochy was voted number one handling a pitching staff. buck was voted second best handling the pitching staff
