Bottom line is —9 Penalties for 107 yards and 4 turnovers will rarely lead to victory
No purpose in going over the accumulation of oddities in the final minute leading to defeat but here’s my take on what I believe was the mistake.There was more concern about trying to run down the clock then trying to make a 1st down. Conventional wisdom has to be thrown out for the Ravens because of the inability to stop a team in the final drive. At some point the Ravens just have to try to be the last team on the field. That being said the dropped interception, face mask penalty on 58, barely getting off the final play, and a 54 yard FG resulted in the defeat. The Ravens ade deep in the running for the Joey Bosa Sweepstakes. Or whoever.
Message to Joe: When you just throw the ball up for grabs #11, #13, #14 are not going to
a–have separation
b–out maneuver the dback and/or safety for the ball
Before we get too upset about the loss, perhaps the Ravens can get all the horrific losses out of the way this lost season.

A coup;e weeks ago I said to one of my friends that the Ravens are following the Terps football teams lead in losses. The only thing I can root for, in football, now is to continue losing this year to get a better draft position. Thank you Terps soccer & basketball.
