Duquesne graduate transfer LG Gill has committed to Maryland, he told Scout.
Gill, a 6-foot-7 power forward, will be eligible to play for Mark Turgeon immediately. Statistically, Gill consistently got better at Duquesne and last season averaged 10.1 points and 6.5 rebounds a game.
Gill took a pair of visits when he opted to transfer from Duquesne. He visited Maryland officially this past weekend and previously visited Marquette.
The Terrapins already have a trio of talented 2016 high school prospects headed their way. Gill joins an incoming class that includes four-star prospects Kevin Huerter and Anthony Cowan, as well as 6-foot-7 forward Micah Thomas.
