My 2 Days at the Masters
Random thoughts at the Greatest Sporting event in America
The best organized athletic event I have been to.
Parking–fast free and easy– most is within 15 minutes walking distance.
Ability to sit and relax on almost any area on the course.
An event that is worldwide attended. I enjoyed chatting with folks from England, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Venezuela, Canada, Spain, etc
The course and grounds are the most immaculately maintained I have ever seen, even surpassing the Old Course.
Watching Jordan play on Saturday with Lefty was superb. Jordan rooted as hard for Phil as he did for himself proving what a true sportsman he is.
Sergio is no longer Non Grata in the USA. You could really feel everyone pulling for him, maybe not like they were rooting for Rickie Fowler but..
Let’s see the concessions:
$3 chicken wraps and sandwiches
$2.50 club sandwiches
$1.50 for sodas
$1 for water
$2 for fruit cups
Southern hospitality is second to none.
Yes tickets are impossible to get, I’ve been trying for 30 years but the wait is worth it.
No cell phones allowed ever or as Chairman Billy Payne says “not as long as I’m alive. “
Every Professional team should observe how the Masters gets the job done.
On top of it all, the Terps defeated #1 Penn State 16-11. The O’s are 4-0.
What a day Saturday was!!!!
Can’t wait to watch the Masters on Sunday
