1. Maryland — The Terps jumped out to a 8-0 lead on their way to a 12-5 destruction of John’s Hopkins in front of 14,353 fans in College Park. Edition No. 115 was one-sided. They could have played this game 100 times and Maryland would’ve won every time. Maryland pushed around Hopkins. They owned every 50/50 loose ball. They won all the confrontations. The Terps worked the ball for quality shots with their feet set. They led 9-1 after 30 minutes. Matt Rambo had a huge night and should be a Tewaaraton Finalist. Connor Kelly nailed his looks. Colin Heacock was back in the lineup and looked good. Dan Morris was solid in the cage. My only questions with Maryland revolve around their lack of depth of scoring and their ability to win a game on Memorial Day with just one day’s rest. Once again, this is the team to beat in May.
