Certainly a deserving choice. Kevin was tremendous as the Terps Defensive Coach for the last 5 years culminating in the great defensive effort against Ohio State for the Natty. I could not be any happier for Kevin.
BUT—now look at the strength of the BIG 10–Maryland –Champion, Rutgers –preseason Top Five in the Nation—Penn State–#1 for a few weeks in 2016, Ohio State–National Runner up and Johns Hopkins–all time Championship leader. With Conry at the head–Michigan will challenge for the Big Ten title within 3 years–maybe sooner.
A must add– Showcase game between #5 and #6 during BIG Ten Title Week.
Tillman’s Coaching tree grows–Kevin Warne at Georgetown, Ryan Moran at UMBC, and now Conry at Michigan.
