Melo bounces back with fine 13 point performance in Vegas Summer League.  Given an opportunity (finally), Melo mad the most of it nailing 3 treys and playing better defense. Jake Layman fell off the last games, last night going 1-9 from the field.

Diamond Stone will come out of the summer league ready to make the Hawks roster and contribute from jump street.

Belichick’s selection of Terrapin face off Coach Chris Mattes remains mind boggling.

The All Star was an absolute snooze fest now that it has no meaning. AL won on a solo HR from Robinson Cano. The game was so boring you could see the hundreds of empty seats during the 2nd half of the game. For those of you who don’t know, this is the 1st year since 2001 that the winner of the game  gets the home field advantage for it’d league in the World Series.

Update on Maryland football recruits.

University of Maryland baseball head coach Rob Vaughn announced the promotion of Anthony Papio to volunteer assistant coach Wednesday morning. Papio previously served as a student assistant coach for the Terps in 2017 after a distinguished five-year playing career in College Park.
