Game set to kick at 3:30 pm & be broadcast on BTN
COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland will host Illinois on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium in a game that will kick at 3:30 p.m. and air on the Big Ten Network, the Big Ten announced on Monday.
Maryland stands at 4-2 (2-1 Big Ten) at the midway point of the season. The Terps are coming off a convincing 34-7 homecoming win over Rutgers this past weekend. Maryland’s 2-1 conference mark ties the best start for the Terps since joining the conference in 2014.
Illinois is 3-3 (1-2 Big Ten) through six games. The Illini defeated Rutgers, while losing to Purdue and Penn State in conference play. Illinois is set to travel to Madison this weekend to play No. 23 Wisconsin.
The Oct. 27 meeting will be the first ever between Maryland and Illinois.
This Saturday, Maryland will travel to Kinnick Stadium to face No. 19 Iowa (5-1, 2-1 Big Ten) at noon on ESPN2.
