Logan McNaney has been a cornerstone for the Maryland Terrapins men’s lacrosse team, showcasing exceptional skill and composure as their starting goalie. From Corning, New York, McNaney’s journey with the Terrapins began with a standout performance in the 2019 Under Armour All-America Game, where he set a game-record with 16 saves in the first half, earning MVP honors.
Throughout his tenure at Maryland, McNaney has been instrumental in the team’s success. In the 2022 NCAA Championship, he made a combined 36 saves in the semifinal and final matches, leading to his recognition as the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.
By February 2025, McNaney became only the fourth goalie in Maryland’s storied lacrosse history to surpass 600 career saves, solidifying his place among the program’s elite netminders.
