The Maryland baseball team dropped a 7-6 decision to a quality Liberty Flames team in a game played in College Park. Tuesday afternoon. Normal circumstances might prompt me to write a recap of the game and move on. Thursday afternoon quarterback Everett Golson announced his intent to transfer from Notre Dame. The six foot senior graduated a semester early and may be eligible to play immediately.
He’s had a rather checkered career in South Bend both on and off the field. Golson struggled on the field last season when he led the NCAA in turnovers. Off the field, he was suspended in 2013 for “poor academic judgment” and was not enrolled in the school.
