Former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Mike Wallace said he signed with the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday because Baltimore offers a better opportunity and a better quarterback.
Wallace, who was released by the Vikings last week, chose the Ravens over a handful of interested teams, saying he wanted to play for a quarterback like Baltimore’s Joe Flacco who could play to his strength and throw the ball deep.

No spin here–I never saw this victory coming. I gave the Ravens little or no chance of victory today. Playing against one of the hottest teams in the NFL, playing with a discarded QB who had only been with the Ravens for 12 days, the Ravens did it–pulled off one of its biggest upsets ever, and perhaps ruined the Steelers season as well.

In case you haven’t figured it out by now, Chris Davis is not going to give the Baltimore Orioles a hometown discount. The team offered him a seven-year, $154 million dollar deal, and he essentially said, “Eh.”
