Listening to the pundits last night –all I heard was how bad the Ravens D is and how much trouble we are in for next week. Then I watched Rodgers thoroughly take apart Houston. So here is the bottom line, he Ravens rush defense is pathetic—the dline and linebackers are getting pushed aroundby the likes of Kansas City, Cleveland, and now Dallas. But the Ravens are 5-1 and they are not operating on all cylinders.

“The ones that count the most are never the prettiest,” Ray Lewis said. “The ones that count the most are the ones that you have to fight through. Anybody on each side of the ball will tell you they’ll take a ‘W’ before anything. For us to go home right now 4-1 is huge.”
This game is hard to describe. The Chiefs ran up and down the field –Jamaal Charles ran for an unheard of 110 yards in the 1st … Read More »
Observations of a grand night of Monday Night Football:
When the Ravens won the toss and elected to receive, you could feel it was a night when a statement would be made. The Ravens offense is for real. First play of the game a 52 yard Bomb to Torrey right on the money.
Joe was 21-299 for 299 yards and 2 TD passes. Enough said.
The Bengals ran the ball well butt Marvin Lewis probably regrets not going for the … Read More »
Fighting the Injuries
FocusBoth sides have been dealt some significant injuries, with the Ravens losing Terrell Suggs for at least the majority of the season and the Bengals missing a whole host of important defenders. Billy Cundiff never would have had a chance to succeed in Baltimore after the New England miss. He needs a new start and received that possibility with his release on Sunday. When Justin Tucker popped that 53 yarder that was a dead straight line — no hook–through the uprights, I do believe Billy’s fate was sealed in the mind of Coach Harbaugh.
