The speculation has been around for years but now the reality might set in. Rumors of the end of the swimming and diving teams swirled around College Park today. The 27 teams as one was always a point of pride for Maryland, but this seems to be the end. Budgetary problems might curtail the amount of Terp Teams. Already there is a Save The Swimmers site.

Heinz was clearly the stronger player but of course the runner up got over 5 million so who am I to say. Of course when Ben Lamb donked out playing 2 hands of KJ off and Q6 off, Heinz relaxed and basically outplayed Stasko.

Please someone explain to me why after grinding and playing brilliant poker to reach the final 3, Ben Lamb, arguably the greates player in the land) would go all in with KJ off. Martin Stasko’s pair of 7s held up. 2 hands later later Ben went home with Q6 off against Stasko’s JJ. As I go to bed, Pius Heinz holds a slight chip edge over Stasko in an all Euro Bluffest final.
